The spectacular Third Street Promenade is moving into the third and final phase of construction, Completion is expected by the end of 2009. The project is made possible through a $1.7 Million state grant that covers 40% of the total construction cost.

Effective September 15, 2009,South Valley Disposal and Recycling will be getting a "facelift". They are now undergoing a name change and updating their logo and “brand.” Their new name will be Recology South Valley.
