The Building Division is responsible for code enforcement activity and the enforcement of the Morgan Hill Municipal Code.  To file a complaint, please select the link below for the Code Enforcement Complaint Form.  The form can be submitted in person, by fax, or by U.S. mail. 

Emergency
If you have an emergency situation or an immediate life safety issue, please call the Building Division at (408) 779-7241 or call 9-1-1 after normal business hours.

Types of complaints handled by Code Enforcement include: work without permits, fences over 6' in height, graffiti, junk and debris in front yards, overgrown vegetation and weeds, construction, trash and recycling containers in the street, basketball hoops on the street or sidewalks, maintenance of vacant lots.

For concerns regarding vehicles, boats, and trailers parked on the street or in the front yard, please contact the Morgan Hill Police Department at (408) 779-2101.

For animal related complaints, contact Animal Control at (408) 776-7324.
