Ed Tewes was appointed Morgan Hill City Manager in January 2000. He has over 35 years of municipal government experience having worked in four other California communities including assignments as an administrative analyst, budget director, community development director and city manager.
Ed is an active member of the International City/County Management Association and previously served as President of the California Redevelopment Association. He graduated from Claremont Men’s College in 1972 with a BA degree in Political Science, and from the University of Southern California in 1974 with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
